ITT ways to handle being bullbaited

Even though it's not as likely to happen if there are enough Anons standing together, we've all seen the bullbaiters on youtube. Obv, try to walk away into the group and don't even respond to their tactics, but in case you're stuck with a bullbaiter, we should have a list of simple countermeasures.

Thoughts:

  • The Power Gaze - Imagine a triangle formed by both eyes and the center of the forehead. Stare right into the center of that triangle continuously. Try this out the next time you're in a social situation - the effect is quite powerful.

This probably will be less effective on these ppl becasue (a) they have been subjected to hours of "auditing" and "training routines", and (b) any sort of eye cover (sunglasses, masks) likely reduces the effect, but I thought this worth having since it's simple to do.

  • LOL. LOL like you've never LOLed before. Don't even say why you're LOLing, just LOL. If they ask, LOL some more. Make them think you're absolutely nuts.
  • The Talking Hand - Move your hand like it's a talking puppet. You can move your mouth and make sounds, but don't actually form any words.
  • Repeat every word that comes out of their mouth a half second delayed. This one takes more effort and concentration, but if you can pull this off, it drives ppl nuts.
  • At random intervals, interject with random words and phrases. Think back to those unexplainable pictures. Things like "Purple!" and "Oh, the MOOSE is LOOSE on the field!" and "Nah, you're gonna need a bigger boat" and so on.

The goal with these is to get them to think there's no talking to you. They won't let you get a word in edgewise, and everything you say will be turned around and used against you, so clearly there's no talking to them. They're entire goal is to make you look dumb/hateful/wrong and make themselves look smart/right/credible, so let them. It's a game: The moment you start to take it seriously, you lose.
