Operation Postpartum Hard

Postpartum Support International will be giving a series of talks about Postpartum Depression in Houston in June. This is going to be an important series of talks, highlighting the need for Postpartum Depression screening in new mothers.

The CCHR has shown repeatedly and firmly that it is against PPD and believes that it's a made up disease which no one really has and how psyches made it up and by the way, did you know that psyches did 9/11? That's the kind of nonsense we're up against here. They, and our local Church of Scientology Mission, will likely be out full force protesting and picketing the talks. We need to make sure that we have a counter-protest operation going on to make sure the CCHR doesn't derail their proceedings.

Description

The Postpartum Support International Conference, co-sponsored by MHA Houston, will be held in Houston June 4-7, 2008. Speakers for the conference include Dr. Thomas Hale, Dr. Ann Dunnewold, Dr. Lucy Puryear, George Parnham, and Valerie Plame Wilson.
