Scientology is not made up of only the church and the business of running it It have many other organizations, or front groups, that promote Scientology or Scientology teachings often without revealing their Scientologist ties. These front groups are used to infiltrate businesses and schools to spread the word and often recruit new members.

804 W 20th St, Houston, TX
(713) 864-6827‎

Rev. James Jerry McLauglin and wife Cleopatra "Cleo" Desser (Glenn) Johnson Mclaughlin, 2008 Senior VP, Narconon of Oklahoma (Arrowhead)[1]

GOLD, Gift Of Life Drug Rehabilitation Program[2], Narconon First step center, Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Dept. of Church Growth and Development, 2606 Greg St., Houston, TX 77926

"At Wayman Chapel in Houston, the Rev. James McLaughlin's drug treatment center is built on Scientology principles and refers addicts to Narconon, its rehabilitation program...McLaughlin said he was searching for a drug program that had more staying power than the one his African Methodist Episcopal Church was running. He heard about the Scientologists' efforts and established a new outpatient center after training from Narconon." [1]

On Hubbard’s birthday ..attending the LA Sci party McLaughlin praised Hubbard as a “genius.” “I admire him. I respect him. I consider him to be an angel that came to help humankind to work out its problems,” [2]

"Treatment “starts at $30,000,” Cleo, said. There is no free solution to getting your life back. Miss Cleo said to “think of how much you paid for drugs.” Claims that drug residues remain indefinitely in fat cells, but that many hours in a sauna will get rid of them. Add some calcium magnesium, which acts as a laxative and “flushes the body,” along with massive doses of vitamins and minerals." [3]
