UH Flier Drop
From AnonHouston
WHEN: April 10th, 2008, Noon
WHERE: UH Central Campus, By the University Center (UC) (near the main Campus Bookstore). Google Map
WHY: Small flier drop, to raise awareness for Operation Fair Game: Stop! on May 10th
HOW: Masks ON, NO signs
From thephotoman
Thursday will be best, with peak hours of traffic being between 10:30 and 3:00, of course, and as has been shown by Students Against Sweatshops, masks are okay. If you'd like to participate, bring fliers and leave the signs at home. I'm thinking a small-scale raid with minimal coordination that merely distributes fliers would be the best approach: it keeps things flexible for those that have to go to classes, and it doesn't stick us in one place. Basically, this is a mid-day flier drop.
Masks are okay, as long as we're in the drop-in free expression zone between the UC, Melcher Hall, the Power Building and the Library. We'll be meeting at 12:00p at the front of the UC to ensure everybody has fliers and everything.

[edit] Post Game Report
UH Fliering was a triumph. I'm making a note on the wiki: HUGE SUCCESS. There were 4 of us there, and we handed out over 1200 fliers and talked to many students. Some were more interested than others, but there were a few who stopped to talk with us for quite a while. We met a few more anons who had class and couldn't flier, some anon supporters, some people who had seen Anonymous on TV, and even one Scientologist.
I believe that this is the future of our protest actions in Houston, little miniraids like this. Fondren for the lulz, miniraids for the win. --Anon14148 22:25, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
